Battlefield 2142 is a first-person shooter computer game designed by Digital Illusions CE and is the fourth game in the Battlefield series. It is set in the 22nd century, during a new ice age.
BF2142 was released on October 18, 2006 and I've been playing this game ever since. It and it's predecessor, BF2, have stolen countless hours away from my life, hours I'll never get back, and still, I'm willing to give more. Besides having a good upgrade system, and being a really enjoyable game to play, it's been the best way to stay in touch with a couple of buddies of mine that don't live near me anymore.
If you haven't played it yet, wait for the next installement because after almost 2 solid years, the BF2142 game servers are growing scarce. In the mean time, the silliness continues as long as we can find a place to play...
